Ik ben als  multimediamarketinglama aan de slag bij een telcobedrijf.
Alles wat je hier leest is echter mijn eigen mening, ook al gaat dat over mijn werk. Mijn werkgever leest mijn posts niet na en is niet verantwoordelijk voor hetgeen ik neerpen. Zoals gezegd schrijf ik over dingen die me interesseren en als ik op het werk iets interessants doe, dan staat dat hier soms. En soms ook niet.

    I’m Shay, The marketing Executive of TripTouch- a new travel website for travelers during their trip.

    After a couple of months from our beta site soft launch (http://www.triptouch.com ) we feel it’s time to get some more attention- so I’m approaching you.

    Some brief information about us and our service:

    Our goal is to create a useful tool for traveler during their trip. You probably noticed that most travel sites are focused on the planning phase. We’ve built our service especially for independent travelers with relatively long and flexible trips.
    Our concept is to create a personalized location based travel homepage, that lets you get updated information, services and community features.
    We aggregate and integrate content from sites like Wikitravel, eventful, Google maps, Kayak, HostelWorld ( we were mentioned in the NY Times as an example of a “complicated” mashup website: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/10/business/10slipstream.html?_r=1&th&emc=th&oref=slogin and we got a review from Mashable: http://mashable.com/2008/02/14/triptouch-travel-mashup/ ).
    We cover more about 4,000 destinations worldwide.
    Last month we had about 150,000 page views, on February we will reach about 250,000.

    Hoi! Vraag!

    Ik lees op de GGD wiki dat jij ook van Gent komt met de trein in het doorgaan, en nu dacht ik, misschien kunnen we samen treinen? Dan hebben we ook al iets meer kans om de weg te vinden van het station naar het GGD :P
