“Think outside the box”.

Actually, the box is inside a bigger box, so when thinking outside the box you’re actually thinking inside a bigger box. When thinking outside the box you can think all around the smaller box. There’s actually less space to think outside the box than in. This is why thinking outside the box is for morons.

I don’t care about thinking outside the box.

I strongly encourage people at work to think outside the box, provided that they can also prove that some thinking ìnside the box is going on ;-)

but what does thinking outside the box mean? it may be encouraged or talked about or used as a “managese” phrase, but you often find that ‘outside the box’ there is a larger box, be it a company policy, budget, or the limits of the human mind or imagination.
truely outside the box thinking is often misunderstood or frowned upon.

  3. Ik zou deze zeker en vast versturen naar Firmin Crets of Freddy De Kerpel.
